How do you do it?

People in my Reading List keep posting and posting. It's mid term, I'm up to my ears in writing and reading assignments. I'm trying to do fun things, too. How do I make time to write for me?

Les and I got our engagement pictures done the other day! We had Exposure Leak Photography take them. They came out really sweet!

Tonight we went and saw Paranormal Activity 3. Okay, lots of people have their opinions about these movies... but for this household? We LOVE them. They totally freak us out. Goosebumps and everything. And let's just say we weren't alone in being freaked out. The theater was packed with college students, and every single one of them jumped at least a couple of times. A few of them even screamed. Ah, I love a good scary movie. <3

Except for the fact that now we had to come home to our creepy old house. Not to mention the fact that the guy at the corner store says this house is haunted... Oh, and the creepy little square door to the crawl space in our bedroom (in the attic). FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU... lol

Alright, that's the end of this blog! Hopefully we survive the night.  ;)

Ok so I am walking Waylon, right? And these joggers are coming down the sidewalk. We are near our house, so waylon is getting kind of worked up that these two guys are quickly approaching our house, so he starts to puff up. He didn't bark, just puffed up and pulled on the leash really hard. I pull him off to the side of the sidewalk. It's like... 


... but anyway he can just barely reach the sidewalk, and I'm trying not to stand in the street (which is behind me).

The joggers completely ignore our existance. I swear, if we were ON the sidewalk, they would have ran us over. They talked to each other. Waylon kinda grumbles a little, and goes to sniff them and check them out (quickly, cuz they are running by) and WHACK the jogger smacks his hand into waylon's mouth.

Literally causing waylon to "bite" him even without trying.... 

"Ouch, that one hurt" he says to the other guy, they keep jogging.
"Did he bite ya?" other guy says
"I think I got a bloody knuckle"

...they continue down block and around the corner.

Well then!!! DUH!! Don't be an idiot. Steer clear of the overexcited, oversized, unneutered dog held by a college student that doesn't weigh much more than he does. And just in general, try not to punch dogs IN THE TEETH.

Four Scores....

Score! I just realized that I have lived over a score. Sweet!

This quarter is going much too quickly. How are we already on our way into week 4? It seems like it just started!

I am in over my head with three 400 level writing courses, a phonathon job, photography jobs, a babysitting job, a volunteer 'job', trying to plan a wedding, and still having time for me. (Psh what's that? Isn't this all, technically, time for me?)

Les is working miles and miles away when he's working, and when he's not he's here and incredibly distracting because I want to be with him when I've got him. :)

Two of my besties are having BABIES!! They are both due in March which I think is pretty darn awesome. One of my besties has joined the navy, holy carp, right? My other bestie still lives WAYTOOFARAWAY :(

I graduate in March.

Woah!!

Anyway, just an update on exactly what's going on.

Also, Les and I finally got new phones. Same number, but now my phone works. Woot!
